dc.description.abstract The 21st century has seen huge advancements in technology that continues to render many manual applications ineffective. In a bid to leverage on technology, business must strive to leverage technologies for value addition. In this project, an online shopping system has been developed that allows businesses to sell products online to the vast customers on the internet. The virtual marketplace takes advantage of advancements in payment systems as well as help options which has been lacking in existing systems. The context-based FAQs will be helpful in providing shopping assistance to user. The project uses waterfall methodology. The model allows for early design changes as well as a milestone focused approach. Technology is ever evolving and future works will focus on chatbot integration, advanced payment options such as bitcoins as well as development of a mobile application. en_US
